The City of Ikaalinen and locally owned Ikaalinen Spa & Resort have launched a joint campaign that allows city residents to enjoy the spa at a reduced price.
The City of Ikaalinen and locally owned Ikaalinen Spa & Resort have launched a joint campaign that allows city residents to enjoy the spa at a reduced price.
Until the day before Christmas Eve, spa admission is just 10 € for adults and 5 € for pensioners or children aged 4–14. With this offer, Ikaalinen residents can enjoy the Water Tropic spa facilities Monday to Thursday, with no time restrictions.
“The recent discussions about subsidising fitness services and how they are offered to residents made us reflect on our role as well. We want to support the wellbeing of our residents and provide access to diverse physical activities. This is the first campaign of its kind in Ikaalinen,” says Mayor Eeva Viitanen.
Eero Aho, CEO of Ikaalinen Spa & Resort, is also excited about the initiative: “As a privately owned spa hotel, our starting point is different from a municipally owned pool, but we definitely wanted to be part of this campaign trial.”
Residents of Ikaalinen can collect their discount vouchers from Ikaalinen Library or the Valkea Ruusu Arena during their opening hours until 23 December 2024. These vouchers entitle the bearer to the discounted entry price at the Water Tropic reception of Ikaalinen Spa & Resort. The vouchers must also be used by 23 December 2024.
