Water Tropic saunas
You'll find two shared saunas in our Water Tropic area.
Behind the hot tubs, our steam room offers a gentle, humidity-rich experience that soothes the body and calms the mind. With lower temperatures and dense steam, it helps open up the airways, cleanses the skin, and eases muscle tension. Ideal for sensitive skin, the first signs of a cold, or post-exercise recovery – this is your calming moment in the middle of it all.
Close to the steam room, you’ll also find our family sauna – a traditional Finnish sauna designed for shared moments, warmth, and an unhurried atmosphere. Whether you prefer a mild or more intense heat, the soft lighting and peaceful setting make it perfect for quality time with loved ones. Suitable for all ages, the family sauna is a chance to relax, talk, and simply be present – just as the Finnish sauna tradition has always intended.
Sauna World UTU
Welcome to Sauna World UTU – where warmth, peace and wellbeing come together in a truly unique way.
Sauna World UTU features three distinct sauna experiences that blend tradition with modern wellbeing solutions.
Alongside the salt sauna, tropical sauna, and the Four Seasons Aufguss sauna, this atmospheric area is built around a heated outdoor pool – offering immersive sauna moments all year round. Guests can move between the saunas, terrace and pool while soaking in the calm of the surrounding nature.
Smoke sauna
Our incredibly popular smoke sauna sits right on the shores of Lake Kyrösjärvi, just next to the main building of Ikaalinen Spa & Resort – and it’s available for private hire, whether for families or corporate groups.
The space comfortably accommodates 20–25 people for dining, with two changing rooms, two shower areas, toilets – and of course, a spacious traditional smoke sauna.

Welcome to a relaxing sauna experience by the shores of Lake Kyrösjärvi!
This traditional sauna by the lake offers a cosy atmosphere and gentle heat – perfect for both public sauna sessions and private group bookings. After your sauna, cool off on the outdoor terrace or take a refreshing dip in the lake.
Just a stone’s throw from our resort, the sauna is available to both hotel guests and day visitors for an additional fee.
