Sauna World UTU - What to expect?
Sauna World UTU at Vesitropiikki is a modern sauna experience in Ikaalinen, Finland, featuring multiple themed saunas, high-quality facilities and guided sauna rituals.
At Sauna World UTU, you will find:
- A Salt Sauna for gentle, relaxing heat
- A Tropical Sauna with a warm and humid atmosphere
- An Aufguss Sauna, where guided sauna rituals take place
- Modern washing and shower facilities
- A renovated outdoor pool area for year-round use
The Aufguss sauna experience is one of the highlights of Sauna World UTU. During these guided sauna rituals, professional Sauna Masters create relaxing and immersive sessions using heat, steam, scents and towel techniques.
Sauna Rituals (Aufguss)
Sauna rituals, also known as Aufguss, are guided sauna sessions where heat and steam are intensified by a Sauna Master. These sessions combine warmth, aromatic scents, and calming techniques to create a unique and relaxing sauna experience.
At Sauna World UTU, sauna rituals are led by rotating Sauna Masters, ensuring a varied and high-quality experience for every visit.
Water Tropic Access During Your Stay
Access to Water Tropic is included in nearly all room categories during your stay. You can enjoy the facilities from check-in until check-out. Towels are available in your room, and additional towels can be rented from Spa Bar Tropical for 3 € each. Please do not take towels or bathrobes outside to the lakeside area.
At Water Tropic, you may bathe in any swimwear suitable for spa use. For the youngest guests, we recommend using a swim nappy, which can be purchased for 1 € each from Spa Bar Tropical or the hotel reception. Note: Children under 11 must be accompanied by an adult in the pool area.
What saunas can be found at Vesitropiikki?
In both the women's and men's shower areas, there are two saunas – one with a wider door to support accessibility. In the shared area, you'll find a large, atmospheric mixed sauna and a shared steam sauna next to the hot tubs.
Outside the spa, on the shore of Lake Kyrösjärvi, you'll find our summer-season sauna by the lake. For groups, it's also possible to book our famous traditional smoke sauna.

Water Aerobics & Fitness Classes
Our programme includes water aerobics sessions as well as fitness classes held in the exercise hall.
The schedule is published separately for both spring and autumn seasons.

What is included in Vesitropiikki?
One large pool area featuring massage jets and hydromassage water streams. Two children’s pools, two large hot tubs, a water slide, a salt sauna, a cozy family sauna, and a pool bar. As an additional paid experience, the Sauna World UTU offers unique sauna rituals.
How much does Vesitropiikki cost?
Adults: €21–27 depending on the time of visit.
Seniors, students & children (4–14 years): €14–20 depending on the time of visit.
Children under 4 years: free of charge.
Family ticket (2 adults + 2–3 children):
Mon–Thu €54, Fri–Sun €68, peak season €72.
Is the spa included in accommodation?
Yes! In most accommodation packages, access to the spa is included in the price.
