Ikaalinen Spa & Resort is committed to developing its operations in a more environmentally friendly direction – and has now been awarded the EcoCompass certificate in recognition of this work.
EcoCompass is a Finnish environmental management system that helps companies and organisations steer their operations toward more sustainable development. The certificate is granted to organisations that have built their own EcoCompass system and passed an audit conducted by an independent expert.
Reducing our carbon footprint
Receiving the EcoCompass certificate means committing to ten key criteria, including making an environmental pledge and reporting on its progress regularly. The certificate is a mark of dedication to reducing our carbon footprint. At Ikaalinen Spa & Resort, we focus on tracking our environmental impact and continuously improving our results to reduce the use of natural resources and minimise environmental load.
