White Flowers – On the Edge of Infinity

Naomi Mesin is an artist–author who has been active in the art scene since 1998. Her debut book was published in 2017. She lives in rural Sastamala, Finland, where the surrounding nature serves as a rich source of inspiration for her work. Mesin paints vibrant, expressive oil paintings, using colour in a spontaneous and impulsive way. Her visual style often borders on the abstract.
Recurring themes in Mesin’s work include dreamlike Asian landscapes, lotus flowers, and maritime elements.
In addition to her art, Mesin has worked for decades with colour through various roles – as a stylist, interior designer, and professional horticulturist, creating floral arrangements and garden designs.
The theme of this exhibition is climate change – a topic the artist feels deeply concerned about. Its effects, such as the decline in pollinators, are visible in our time.
This exhibition at Ikaalinen Spa & Resort presents a selection of both earlier and more recent works.
All artworks are for sale, and Mesin also accepts commissions.
