A 'can-do' attitude that didn’t go unnoticed
The event already had a clear concept and structure, so during a planning meeting on-site with the auditors from the Automotive Retailers’ Association, the team reviewed the facilities and discussed how everything would be carried out in practice.
“Due to COVID, the sales team wasn’t reachable at first – but once we got in touch, everything came together smoothly.”
The catering was planned in collaboration with the kitchen staff to match specific requests. “Discussions with the kitchen were easy – they had a real ‘can-do’ attitude,” says Jari Salonen, CEO of Liikennekauppiaat Ry.
“Everything was handled with the right attitude – and a twinkle in the eye.”
For overnight guests, rooms in the main building were conveniently close to all event areas, while some stayed 300 metres away in the Lofts building.
The evening event at Restaurant Kyrös featured a stand-up comedian and a live band that rocked the stage. A fun touch was a hidden “speakeasy” bar set up in one of the spaces.
Our staff received high praise from the Automotive Retailers’ Association. “The staff were friendly and present in sufficient numbers across nearly every area of the event. Everything was handled with the right attitude – and a twinkle in the eye,” says Jari.
The resort as a whole also received great feedback – especially the Water Tropic area, which was conveniently located right next to the main building.

The event also featured a trade fair held at Ikaalinen Spa Arena, where exhibitors appreciated the ease of setup thanks to the Arena’s convenient location.
