Everything went smoothly from the start
Booking with the sales team was effortless. The event was already nearly fully planned, so the sales team’s task was to finalise catering and programme arrangements. Branch secretary Samuel Halonen was able to suggest what suited them best – and the resort took care of the rest.
Even though the contact person changed mid-process, everything went smoothly, and the sales director even visited the event to ensure everything was running as planned.
The catering included a soup lunch during the day and a whole roast pig served buffet-style for dinner. Guests booked their own accommodation from a dedicated room quota. Saturday featured organised activities, and in the evening, karaoke took over at Old Ikaly Pub.

“Planning got a bit stressful at times, but everything was taken care of. The resort was the only place within a large radius where an event of this size was even possible – especially when it comes to accommodation. Plus, the facilities allowed the whole group to stay together throughout,” Halonen sums up.
To thank the resort staff for a great event, Paperiliitto’s Porin Branch 10 surprised them with coffee and cake after the event.
